Simbad, I don't like live concerts as I went to all too many in the 60s/70s but I just love this by The Killers, over 26 million viewings ...

Thanks Jenny I certainly will, we were lucky enough to see Brandon Flowers from The Killers a couple of years ago in Leeds when he did a solo tour he was brilliant live!!!!
Victoria we've just got into the live concerts in the past 3-4 years, now the kids are 20 and 22 its time for us!!!!, we saw Ian Hunter from Mott The Hoople in Harrogate a couple of weeks ago for 73 years old he sounds even better than he did in the 70's, Joan Armatrading a couple of months ago she was brilliant too, and in December we're off to see Pulp!!!!
I love all The Killers albums, Human is one of mine and OH's favourites , have to admit my absolute favourite is Mr Brightside, requested it at my brothers wedding a few weeks ago, it certainly got everyone up dancing, over 51million viewings of this Victoria

Hiya simbad. I didn't realise that Pulp were touring. That'll be a good one:blue thumb: At first, I didn't like Pulp at all, but then I discovered 'A Different Class', then I understood what it was all about, the context in which most of his tunes are based. One of the things that put me off, was his 'geekyness', but I now find it endearing. A much underrated songwriter, imo.

        Cheers...Freddy

Hi Freddy, think Pulp have been touring in Europe this year but this will be their only UK concert in their hometown of Sheffield!!!! 8th December we bought our tickets months ago couldn't miss that could we , agree Jarvis is a brilliant songwriter all his songs have a story, he was interviewed on the radio a couple of weeks ago, very clever and funny man too.

It's raining out there and I'm in a chilled out, but reflective "Saturday" mood and I'm listening to this. Leonard Cohen's compositions are way up in my list of greats,

I see where this fantastic duo has released an album ...

... and to think they lost Britain's Got Talent 2012 to a dog (albeit a funny and clever one) ... :dunno: I think they will be around far longer than Pudsy! :)

Scotkat, that's a great version of 'Crazy'. I've not heard it before and it's so differnet from the hit versions of the song.

It's amazing how many different versions of it have been recorded. I've still got my 1961 copy of Patsy Cline singing it. She was the first person to make a hit out of it - and made plenty of money for Willy Nelson who wrote it. :)
