And what about Glen Cambell's Wichita Lineman? # Incidentally, The sublime James Taylor has just brought out an album of covers including this one.

I can't seem to get anything up at the moment ... sorry ... not personal to anyone ...:hehe:

I love Alan Jackson and I have that song on a 2-CD by him. However, one of my favourites is Remember When which he wrote for his wife after they split up and got back together .... it's brilliant ...

Seem to be having problems putting up things now as well ... :dh:

I shall give up and go away ...

    Claire, brilliant :gnthb: :gnthb: :gnthb:

Dan, I've never heard of any of them  :hehe:

Now here is a classic performance,

Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Fats Domino with some interesting backing. I've spotted Rod Stuart, Carl Perkins and Ron Woods - and it is directed by Paul Schaeffer (who, amongst other things, directed John Belushi and Dan Akroyd whenever they played the Blues Brothers and, more recently, wrote It's Raining Men. Don't know whether that last is much of a recommendation for him :hehe:)
