Only thing I got good at was the Jews harp, anything else was just so hopeless I could never stick with things back in my younger days

I find that open mic sessions are a good way to exchange experiences with other musicians

I spent the evening cleaning and setting up/ re stringing an acoustic guitar that was dumped at bottom of flats. Inside, thankfully! Wow, what a good free find. Now plays beautifully and gave me so much pleasure to get it set up right. I feel a real sense of achievement and will now put it to work in my studio (well, ok bedroom) ha ha! I do just have room for my bed. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1448144271.242360.jpg

I also can't play any musical instrument, no chance of dancing (unless Daddy dancing counts :) )
My daughter banned me from dancing at her wedding, I'm that bad.
But I do enjoy listening to music, just got tickets to go and watch Jeff Lynne's ELO at Manchester next year, really can't wait one of my all time favourites.

I started off playing a Tenor horn, but changed to the trumpet. Many moons ago though.
As for The Beatles, I love this version of Rex Harrisons 'Something'.
Shirley at her best, and as for that last note :ouch1:.... Phenomenal.
