    Had the same thing with my turnips on saturday covered, in the damned things, spent 1/2 an hour picking them off. I won't tell you what I did with them.:(:(

    my spinach and broccoli are looking very lacy too.

    I have given up all hoe of getting much from the Veg. patch this year but had hoped that the spinach would be spared.
    I wonder if caterpillers like soapy water because I don't want to spray anyting else since I want to eat the spinach, that is if they leave me any.

    I don't know but I keep trying stuff on it that does not render the vegetable uneatable.

    I thought the other day....I have some tea tree oil, if I dilute that ...like 5 drops to a litre of water and then spray what is left of my veg.....I wonder if that would help.

    I will try that to-night and report back after my dirty weekend away.
