    I agree with Michael, why change? In saying that, I have just changed mine, again! :rolleyespink:
    A stunning orange Rose and I saw those Lemon Bells, so bright and pretty.

      Hi Upsydaisy,..i always expect it to have an orange scent :),..not so,..it has a mild scent,..its hard to get the scent of any of the roses which are close to Rose ( Rosa 'Korresia' ) its scent wafts all over the garden.

      Korresia.

        Hi Michael,..the containers are the big builders rubble ones with drainage holes approx 8 cm from the bottom so when watered it doesn't run immediately through but leaves enough to soak back up.

        I felt like a change was due after looking at the 2015 July video,..the repetition can be disappointing when i view the finished video,..so just remove some of the regular plants and replace with something new from cuttings or seeds.

          Hi Victoria,..a change is as good as a rest :),..as i explained to @Michael Hewett its the constantly seeing the same blooms each season of each year for so long,..i think the last change was in 2015 when i moved the Delphiniums and got rid of a very tall Fuchsia Tree and also parted with my Cytis scoparius 'Scotch Broom',..yellow and red blooms.

          Ah so you spotted the Phygelius 'Candy Drops Cream',..though more like Lemon :)

              Thanks for explaining, I thought you were going to rip everything out and give your garden a modern minimalist look, that would have been awful.

                I'm with you on change Phillip....I like to look back on my photos and know which year it was by the plantings.

                Our garden is full to overflowing with perennials ..and I'm still adding more, but I do like to like to ring the changes with summer bedding.I do have some firm favourites that I use ...but always plant them in different places but I always add new ones that I haven't had before too. Otherwise I feel it becomes too samey ( is that even a word!!:heehee:) every year. This year I still have plants that are yet to fully bloom...things seem so late. This year is definitely the year of Pink Lavaters in our garden, my pics don't portray a true view.....they do look lovely, a mass of pink with butterflies flitting amongst it all.

                Starting now to think about next year now....still keep some Lavater...but not in their current position I think.

                  @Upsydaisy ,

                  Ah,.. samey :),..not a word one hears very often,..it is indeed a word,..i used it in a game of Scrabble once and there were raised eyebrows,..they had to check the dictionary.

                  I was admiring your garden images and was spellbound by them,..your Lavatera is out of this world,..a beautiful garden.

                  I have had to remove shrubs over the years that just outgrew the garden,..one such was admired by everyone who viewed it cytisus scoparius Scotch Broom,..yellow blooms with some red,..i had two of them.

                  Also a very tall Fuchsia.

                  Nothing so drastic this time,..a move about with some plants,..getting rid of some others,..i have lots of seeds stored so i will hope for the best with them.
