My cuttings all die! Frustrated!!

    Thank you all for your advice so far - some very useful things to try. If anyone else has ideas, please continue the thread.

    Yes Rhylesgranny, I always put cuttings and seeds in a plastic bag. The compost should be just damp, not soaking wet, that way they don't get too damp. It saves issues about watering seeds and the cuttings always do well as they don't dry out.

    I think the RHS site is possibly one of the most informative and shows in very simple terms exactly how to do whatever. Your welcome.

    well using the advice given on here ive taken some rosemary cuttings (ive cut the growing tip off a couple to see what difference there is).
    Ive also sown some seeds and ive done that with a little more knowledge than i had this time last year so hopefully they'll do better too! I certainly haven't left them in the shed window to bake in the sun like last time! I thought they needed sunshine but obviously not that much cos they all wilted last year!
