Sorry for the delay replying - but wow, thanks very much for sharing those drawings. I know all 3 of those buildings very well and so I can attest you have done a great job capturing them.

(until recently, I lived in Glasgow city centre very near to all of these buildings - now in the burbs!)

What has been your favourite cathedral to sketch?

Have you ever considered sketching other types of religious building? (I visited Pluscarden Abbey the other week; it was a very interesting building, especially as I understand it is the only medieval abbey in the UK still inhabited by monks and used for its original purpose - though it lay derelict for several hundred years after the reformation).

Thank you very much for saying that it's always nice to hear from someone who's local. I don't know where abouts you live but I've also done the two RC cathedrals in Paisley and Motherwell ( I think I'm right in saying they're Glasgow area aren't I, please correct me if I'm wrong).

I don't have a particular favourite but I think some of the Italian ones are stunning because of the use of different coloured marble and stone.

I have done other buildings such as castles/ historic houses etc, even interesting street scenes.

I shall have to have a look at Pluscarden abbey and see what I can do for you

I was raised in Essex and have only visited a few castles in Southern England even though they are my favourite buildings. I'd like to visit Dover castle sometime in the future.
