      You have some serious talent! 800 and counting.. wow! Is it just cathedrals you draw? Like Rustler said you need to get them framed and recognised!

        Thanks Linz,

        I like drawing any sort of building or street scene.

        I wouldn't know how to get started on exhibiting ir selling them.

          All these are excellent, such detail and so precise. It's a talent. Did you have lessons or do you just draw what you see, like I do.

          I wonder if a local library or gallery would exhibit them for you. Maybe some shops would sell some for you (if that's what you want)
          The local Post Office and some shops have said they'd do it for me, but I haven't got time to do lots.

            Hi Michael,

            No, I've never had lessons, completely self taught. I just do them from photographs.

            I did have a mini exhibition in our library about seven years ago but nothing came of it and since then they've sold off the exhibition space.

            How did you approach the shops, and what type of shops were they ?

            The post office would be no good for me as ours closed down and they now occupy a corner of WH Smiths.

              @Anthony Rogers
              I didn't have lessons either. It's just something I can do. We have a talent :smile:

              Maybe if you drew some local scenes they would have sold in the exhibition. I think people like to buy pictures of places they know.
              Your drawings are excellent, but if people haven't actually seen the places, or have a connection to them, they wouldn't think of buying them. It's a shame, because they are unique.
              For examlpe, you have a picture of St David'a Cathedral in Wales, and it probably would have sold in an exhibition in Pembrokeshire, but people in Worcestershire would not recognise it.

              I'm sure there are local places you could draw, as well as the cathedrals - don't stop drawing the cathedrals. I hope you get to do all the ones you want, and even visit them one day :smile:

              I live in a village where there's a small post office. I asked the lady in charge of it, because I saw other things there that local people had made. She said she'd be happy to sell for me, but I haven't got around to it.
              There are also shops in small towns and villages near here, that sell crafts. It's at the edge of the national park. We have lots of tourists in the summer and these shops attract them.
