Hello Kevin, so sorry to hear that you've been unwell, I hope the promise of Spring and of all the joys that it brings will speed up your recovery.

Sorry I can't help with identification of the weed, just concentrate on a tiny bit of your garden at a time ...think of it as a jigsaw puzzle....bit by bit the picture you're aiming to achieve will appear.!!

Although I must agree with some earlier comments made that your garden looks amazingly neat and tidy.....puts mine to shame somewhat!!:heehee:

          Hello @Sheal

Thanks for the confirmation of it being Liverwort.

That area of the Garden is close to the Water Feature so I may be getting some splashing, also, I am still tweaking the Drip Irrigation in that area so that may help too.

          Thanks

          Kevin

            You're welcome Kevin. :)

Yes, it's more than likely due to your water feature.

              Hello all

I hope you are all well.

After a rough couple of Months I have started to tackle the Garden.

I have spent the last Week on Weeding, Weeding and more Weeding :wallbanging:

              I hate weeds

I put my Ear Phones in for my Music, it helps me relax, put my Gardening Gloves on and wrapped up, all ready to go.

Anyway, after all that and numb hands and fingers I think I am actually getting somewhere

This is how the Back Garden looks now:

              1#1$20220310093128996.jpg

This is the Side Garden which is not covered by the Garden Camera:

              20220310_115018.jpg

The Lawns still need cutting but they are still damp so I will wait before doing that.

I have also done some Pruning and Shaping as some of the Shrubs were growing haphazardly.

              They look much better now.

I am looking forward to seeing how the Garden grows in its third Year :)

Also, the work to Lift and Re-Lay the Patio and Paving is scheduled for this Month, however, I have not heard from them yet, they did say that the timing was fluid as it was dependant on how much work they could get done over the Winter.

              All fun.

              Thanks

              Kevin

@Kevin Cowans that is a LOT of weeding! Congratulations on having the persistence to get that much done. :blue thumb:

                  Hello @CanadianLori

                  Thanks, for the reply.

Each time I went out I had planned to do an Hour, then, when I decided to finish I discover three Hours had passed :thud:

I am happy with the result though and the feeling in my hands and fingers will return in time, hopefully :)

Your garden looks so neat and tidy. Time passes very quickly whilst doing work. You think, you've done, but there is always another plant to cut, to prune, to move etc.

                      Hello

Thanks for the replies and the kind words, much appreciated.

It is true, time definitely flies when working especially when I have my earphones in listening to my Music, it puts me in my own little world :)

I like my little world, this one not so much

I decided to try cutting the Back Lawn as it felt dry, which it was, until 5 minutes after I finished and then rain started.

It definitely looks better than it did, I will post an updated Photo once I manage to tidy the edges once it dries again.

I also need to cut the Front Lawn but since I hate working in the Front Garden that can wait a while.

                      Thanks

                      Kevin

Hi Kevin, I hope you're feeling better now. Oncoming Spring with warmer weather and lighter evenings will help.

The garden looks good and ready for this coming season. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the patio and paving work that still needs to be done. It's given you a lot of hassle until now.

                      Hello @Sheal

                      Thanks for the reply.

To be honest, I am not looking forward to getting the Patio and Paving done.

The way I cope is by comparison of what has gone before, unfortunately, my past experience of Landscapers has not been good.

                      Hopefully, things will go well.

                      Thanks

Yes, you have had a lot of problems getting the work done. Hopefully you will finally get it sorted out this year.

                      Hello @Sheal

Fingers Crossed all will go well, then I can concentrate on dressing the Patio with a Table, Bench etc.

I said I would Post an updated Photo of the Back Garden once I managed to clean up the Lawn Edges after its first cut of the Year, so here it is:

                      1#1$20220311110851749.jpg
There seems to be a fair few weeds in the Lawn so I am going to try Evergreen Complete 4in1, hopefully that will work.

All in all though, the Garden is doing well, I am looking forward to seeing how it grows this Year :)

                      Thanks
