The older two have been told not to touch plants unless I tell them too as some will make them ill (they dont touch any of the plants :)).
Elliot (my youngest) wants to help water and dig so i have to keep an eye on him :).
They cannot get to the Ricinus without going through the gate and we dont use the front door so its well out of harms way :).
I see what you mean though to someone who dosent know what they are its a disaster waiting to happen! :(.

Hat's off to you, that is one big task, and I think I would have been scratching my head for some time. A lot of concrete but you have some good ideas for using the space, and pots are always great to give a splash of colour wherever looks a little bare!

The one in the fenced bed??
That would be a Ricinus impala/ grown from seed as an annual in this country (unless you have somewere to over winter them).
They are highly toxic so if you have pets/children grow them somewere out of reach (why i have them in the front and one in the fenced bed were they cannot be got to).

Im happy with the gardens progress now :D but im still not done ;).
Im digging a side shrub border and still have to front to finish (slow process).

You have achieved such a lot in such a short time. Well done you!

Looking forward to seeing how it progresses as you expand your beds!

Love the pink and white dahlia, what is it called please?
