        Ive just found this thread. What an amazing job you have done there. I know its very satisfying as my garden was an overgrown mess when i moved in. You really have put some hours in ther well done you :wow:

                  Freddy... You are a complete inspiration! I am at the beginning of my transformation and want a cottage garden and a fern garden...                     It's the first time I've looked through your thread Freddy. A long narrow garden isn't the easiest to plan and work with but you've done an amazing job and it's stunning! Not exactly a blank canvass when you started either with it being so overgrown.

                      Hello chums.

                      I'd forgotten about this old thread, but have noted a couple of comments, so herewith some pics of how it is today. I have to say, it's not turned out how I had planned. The Tropical/Jungle area was wiped out by the the very harsh winters we've had, and that coupled with the very Alkaline soil I have makes things more difficult. Indeed, the area designated as the Cottage garden ended up with weak spindly plants, so it has been grassed over with a few plants in the border.
