Dalubie yet another brilliant cake how do you do it girl?

One of these days you will have to do a step-by-step guide for all us girls (and maybe some of the boys too) who would just love to follow in your steps and have a go at making such a great cake.Hel.xxx.

Thanks folks, the poppies were a bit of a challenge took me quite a few attempts to get them right so much so I have little sugar paste poppies lying all over the place, had a few nightmares over them too. I don't think i will be growing any of them in the garden this year, I'm poppied out. ;)

Just a bit too far Nick, I don't think a cake would travel that well.
Thats a shame about your daughters cake, when is the big day?

i just had a look on their site they all look lovely and quite good prices too. Your daughter should have a look on the internet for a cake decorator thats local, that way she can go along and see what they have to offer. Although its not that far away, also look out in shop windows for ads, thats how I advertise I just put some flyers in the local shops and I have had quite a few orders. Good luck and let me know how she gets on.

    Carol.

dalbuie, only just caught this thread. Wow, lovely, lovely cakes. I love themed cakes. Shame we are all scattered over the countries, you would get lots of orders from here.

Keep up the good work, & good luck with orders.

    cheers
