Thank you all for the kind comments, I still don't really know where I'm going with this yet I just keep making it up as I go along.
Didn't get much done this weekend as i'm also decorating the lads bedroom but I did manage to get in a couple of hours this evening

Hopefully I should get the rest of the sleepers tomorrow as i'm all out of materials now...

Next decision will be if I paint the sleepers black to get a Japanese look or leave them as they are..

What do my readers think, Black or leave as they are ????

      Thanks for reading

Black, like white I always find quite harsh so I would stick to an 'earthy' colour to blend in with your fences and red brick walls. :)

You're doing an amazing job bigbore! I feel really inspired to be brave and start mine... some action instead of overthinking things! Thanks for sharing your progress pics.

So today I went to the garden centre for some paint, didn't buy any paint but came home with these

              How does that happen :snork:

Also had to get some pots to do them justice

Didn't get much done on the garden due to the weather and work, but what I did get to do was finish the front face and cut off the uprights. Next job is to stain!

But did manage to get a couple of pics in from the office window

hello all , sorry this is taking its time but running the house with two kids whilst the boss is at work and then working nights myself leaves me very little time to get anything done. I have finally started the other side and also started to stain and seal with plastic, next job is to back fill with the soil i'm digging out for where the pond is and also where the pergola will be fitted.

@bigbore, you really are doing an exceptional job in the garden, everytime you post a lovely photo I can see your progress, little & often is what I try to do! Blinking work gets in the way doesn't it....the only good thing about it is the money you recieve to spend on plants & garden equipment! :heehee:
