been doing some finishing touches before the winter comes, The plan was to break any structure edges up by adding additional plants to them

Used up the last of the sleepers and then got a load more topsoil to add to the borders,
Next job is to order another 14 sleepers to start the other side of the garden. My plan is to get that done this year and then it only leaves the pond and planting to do next year.

photos will follow as photobucket is playing up

well not posted in awhile as with the wet weather most jobs are now on hold, so today i thought i would look back on the year and see how far i have come. The funny thing is the garden still looks a mess but its heading in the right direction! I can't wait for another year of fun and to post again in a years time with another look back.

So we went from this picture in January 5th 2015

Hi bigbore, I've loved the journey:thumbsup:
I used to love reading about your ideas and progress, and especially, seeing the results.
What you've done in one season is brilliant! I love the way the garden is morphing into what you, as a family, want it to be:) if I remember rightly you said you didn't have much gardening knowledge? ( sorry if that's incorrect ) your garden looks to be in more than capable hands:dbgrtmb:
I can't wait to hear about your plans for 2016. Lots more pics would be great too:biggrin:
