Sorry for the posts, I'm uploading on my phone so there's a few separate ones instead of one long one.

Patio are is now designated patio... not a tip like it was!
    IMAG1993-1024x579.jpg
The tulips are gone. So we've added a few other plants on the border to add interest while they are gone.
    IMAG1991-1024x579.jpg IMAG1990-1024x579.jpg IMAG1992-1024x579.jpg
I'm sure they will come into their own later in the season.

It's good to see the new greenhouse up and running Neil. :dbgrtmb: Your Lobelia may take a while to get underway as they need constant heat to germinate. I usually start mine in an electric propagator in early March.

        IMAG2404-1280x724.jpg
Spuds! The only thing thriving in my soil! Oh and strawberries in front, hiding from the birds :)

        IMAG2408-1280x724.jpg IMAG2409-1280x724.jpg IMAG2410-1280x724.jpg
The trailing plants are filling out :)
I'm starting to think I did space them properly... time will tell
        IMAG2405-1280x724.jpg
Sweetcorn! And an attempt at runner beans? They don't seem to be doing very well,
        IMAG2401-1280x724.jpg
The flowers under the tulips are up, they need dead heading though
        IMAG2402-1280x724.jpg
Roses and lavender looking... ropey if I'm honest, I'll be patient! They are doing better than last year
        IMAG2403-1280x724.jpg
Peas and green beans and runner beans, seem to be growing, which is always a good sign.
        IMAG2413-1280x724.jpg
Also running out of space in the greenhouse. I really need some shelves!
Mostly chillies and peppers and tomatoes, with others
        IMAG2414-1280x724.jpg
Overall, it's all looking good as I've done the bare minimum as we've been decorating the house ready for a new arrival :)

It looks like you're going to have a fine crop of potatoes Neil. :) When the flowering season is over trim the top of your lavender and it will fill out more for next year, don't cut back into the old wood though.

Congratulations on the expected arrival! :)

Well well well... I am going to try and get some time to update this thread! Getting time to do much has gone out of the window with our little arrival (now nearly 20 months old, how time flies!) looking at the last update, add a whole year worth of maturing with next to no input to the garden and you'll get an idea of how it looked a few month ago.
Making a tiered garden safe is no easy feat!!!

Welcome back Neil. :) I've missed the progress on your garden and look forward to seeing how it looks now. Congratulations also on your little one.

I have moved house since you last posted. I'm now living in Scotland and starting to get to grips with my new garden of eight months.

What you have achieved in your garden hasn't ceased to amaze me and an inspiration to us all here.
