I don't think I had anything like that when I was a little girl. :confused: Handle of a hair brush or mirror?

 

Hi PAL is it a mummys hand, :D

 

It belonged to my Granny,and she got into big trouble making it do what it was not made to do! :D

 

I'm stumped! :D Is it a wood carving that she used to use as a drumstick? Poor guess, I know!

 

Can you make out the rust?

Rust and leather and your grandmother used to play with it as a child? Am I looking at the right picture, I ask myself? :confused:

I'm at a loss to even make a guess ......

 

The item was lost from reach in a Mill race from 1904 until 1998,and knowing where it was located,I found it when the race was drained when we did work on the old mill house.Granny was beaten for mistreating it(which almost caused a fire!) and also letting it fall into the water.

Lady,it was not a toy,and she had more than one of them :D

 

That is the sole of a lady's shoe or boot?
