[IMG] Yes you were nearly right Blackthorn, but not quite & it was hard not to give it all away then...!! These bows are far more accurate & powerfull than any crossbow..! I do mainly shoot outdoors, here & in the USA. Field Archery is my choice here & in the US, I used to compete.. I was picked for the World championships in '96, but was unable to go in the end due to family illness.. Have broken a few records in my time though..!! We used to shoot indoor leagues in the winter.. I also hunt with it in the US.. I hope that does not upset anyone, but that is my choice.. [IMG] [IMG] I also shoot traditional equipment, a Longbow & also a recurve bow here... Unfortunately with all our history with the bow, you cannot use it for anything here other than targets... No hunting allowed here with it anymore... They are a weapon none the less & that must not be forgotten...!! Great care has to be taken with them at all times.... All good fun & excersise at the same time...!!! [IMG]

Well done Nick. I'd an idea it was archery related but had forgotten about those ones with the cams.

That's a lethal looking armoury Marley. Those things are more lethal than shotguns. Don't you have to keep them in a secure cabinet?

Each to their own I guess. To me - shooting an arrow into a coyote is no different from shooting one into a spaniel [IMG] .

Gotta say its one thing to kill a pest thats killing you animals.
Its quite another to have a photo taken with the trophy.

    This shouldn't prove too difficult.

I'll not get into an argument MF. Just point out that foxes only kill "indiscriminately" because the chickens etc are contained within a restricted area. In the wild, a single kill would be enough and the prey then taken back to the den and the young.

Old Man Coyote was there long before your pig farmer and he has his rights too. Should everyone who ever enjoyed a bacon buttie be shot for that "crime"?

The jungle outfit suggests you regularly hunt. Ditch the bow and hunt with a camera.
