Oh, goodness, BM, another correct item in the home ... our bathroom door latch ... bem fiz, meu amigo! [IMG] [IMG]

    (sorry, didn't centre the photo)

I think t'other half calls it a Norfolk door latch? He made the door, I stained it and we had a friend bring the latch over from Merrie Ole as they are a bit obscure here!

Must say, I love some of the guesses ....

    ... a trouser press, Roders ?????? ... do they still exist ???
... Dave W ... you know you can't leave a lolly in the sun for goodness sakes, man!
... Windy, you need to look at my bee with a wood fetish on What's Flying Near You ...

We had a door latch the same as that on our side door at home. I used to kick it with my foot so I didn't have to get off my bike on the way to do my paper round. I think I broke the curved latch in the end, or was it my brother, I forget. I like the items about the home, I only got MFs pestle because my mum had one the same when I was at home. :D

Sealing strip for a door - possibly an oven door?

no on second thoughts its too short for that. I think LoL has it - a wick for one of those tiny anti-frost lamps.
