    ... ignore what is written on the jug ... it's only ever had cider in it since we've owned it (about 1982) as t'other half is a big cider fan. At parties he would fill it with the nectar (about two gallons) and put it on the wall outside for folk to help themselves ... obviously having to refill from time to time.

    I found my biggest one in a ditch in my village when I was about 8. It was full of muck so I wouldn't fancy drinking from it!..'Hitchman's of Chipping Norton' is the name on it.
