    [​IMG] Thanks very much. We know they have been used together (the range & stand) for many years as the old lady we bought the cottage from, was the last of several generations of the same family & had lived here all her life. She was in her 80s & said it was always there, she still cooked on it ...!!! [​IMG] In the 70s, this is.. As we have been here for 30 odd years.. I have cooked on it many times when the power lines were down or the weather was really cold.... ;) :D Single oven , hot plate either side, one fast, one slower... [​IMG]

    It actually looks like one of these strange things that you can use in your hair to loop your hair around to make nice twirly girly things ... but you have to have long hair for that!

    Second guess, a strange antenna?
