    If it is the hitching post / horse-holder then I guessed it on the previous page, I just spelt it wrong! Tethering and not teethering (!) I do like you horse-holder miraflores. And now I bet it is the lid of some strange container as guessed by Lofl.

    Having said that, it does look a bit like the lid to our former cesspit, which we now collect rain water in, only we have a metal ring in a cement lid, and this looks rather like a metal lid.
