Is it a weight with pick-up ring for holding fences up with?

No, Pal, that was no help whatsoever! I don't think I have such an object.

Rather than a lantern / torch, how about a light, perhaps an oil lamp?

I am on the right track or should I go back to the poo/compost area?

I think this is taking me a bit longer than one minute now, Pal (the eleven don't count because it was eleven before I saw it and made a guess).

Okay, I can't go for a solar light because you know I have those.

Is it actually a light sensor to turn lights on / off? (but I do have those)

Is it the lid to an outdoor heater that also lights up the area?

    Must go finish dinner now.

Thought of the word now, Pal, a chiminea. Like yours! They are very popular here, also the very tall ones, more stainless steel looking. They use them in restaurants (the outside eating part obviously) and not in the summertime.

roders, my dearest, thank you for posting.

I agree with K-G, a ceramic flour or sugar container.
