    Guys... I have to go! A thunderstorm's just started and we have to unplug all computer gear.... so.... I'm going to give this one to Marley who was a hairsbreadth away...

    It's an antique inkstand, in fact my grandmother's Sunday School prize from about 1890, and a lovely little object, too!

    no, it's all part of the same item, the complete item being about 5"x4"x2".

    A mirror maybe i,m going blind but that with what looks like a handle looks gold to me
