    Marley - We had a shell exactly the same as yours but used it as paper weight. I always thought the settings on it were for either height or seconds delay.
    Whatever...I'd not like to be near one when it went pop!

    Bang on Nick :D :D

    This was sold in kit form in around the 1930/40s. The crystal holder is missing but a germanium diode across the terminals gets it working.
