    A strange thing I don't know about that you comb your cats with?

    Now I think it is what Sis said - a feather duster but one of the "modern" ones made of fiber.

    It's obviously multi-coloured as the "fluffy bit" is red above so I stick with my feather duster but correcting myself now say micro-fibre duster. I have a solid coloured one here but had a multi-striped one on the IoW.

    I'll go completely off tangent and suggest some sort of furry plaything - maybe for a cat to play with or scratch at. (Not having a cat I wouldn't know).

    Anyway, some sort of toy for an animal.
