    its been agreed its old and small and 4 and half long. I think its an old penny carrier.

    It's only about quarter inch diameter. Has a jewel (fake) sunk in the top.

    Some of you others were getting close too!
    It's a pocket pen and pencil. The pencil fits inside the pen and they both fit inside the holder.The nib was made by Hinks Wells & Co and is "Egyptian Goverment No.3 pattern.
