    It was actually in the cow yard out side the dairy ;) [​IMG]
    6"x6" and 4"deep. Cotswold stone.

    It is a drainage "grill". The corrosion is due to 200 years of cow wee.
    I found it in a pile of rubble that the thick brickies had thrown it in :rolleyes:

    Must be all the sleep my kids let me have last night! ;) I worked on a dairy farm when I was younger, so much fun but so much poo! Best bit is going to find the cows for milking in the furthest field they could get to, feeling all important with your big stick! :D
