    T'other half was recorded playing one of these (mind you, not as fancy) at the Athens (Alabama, USA) Old Time Fiddlers' Convention back in the 70s. That's a real cool one and Paladin, do you want to sell it?

    That's a fancy looking jews/jaws harp Pal, mine are plain with no decoration, easy to get a sound out of it but difficult to play. I would have got it straight away had I looked at the thread!
    Can't get MF's. :(

    Does anyone have any idea what this? I've no idea, but it looks like it formed part of a waggon horse's tack or summat similar. The ring is fixed and doesn't swivel. I'm puzzled and would love to know what is is.

    Dave,looks very much like one of a pair of side traces used to harness the horse to an implement.
