    Is this in the house, Pal? I've never seen such before and I use 3 gas and 1 electic ring and I'm pretty much up to date ... I thought! I certainly wouldn't want to be cleaning it. :eek:

    Yes Lady,it's in the house :D The mesh is a device just sat on the burner which increases the heat and so reduces the cooking time.
    I got it mail order for a fiver. ;)
