Sorry I'm late getting back to you folk ... lots of interesting guesses and several could be correct.

However, roders is spot on with the shower head ... well guessed ... [IMG] it's actually the new shower in the en-suite to the guest room after our horrendous works last summer (one bathroom into two), and I'm so proud of it I'll put a near-on full view of it ... because it's avoiding the cat litter box in the bottom ... :D

Evening, Cutie. I'll put a pic of my cooker hood in the next few days to show you the difference and what a continental one looks like. [IMG]

Here you go, Cutie, just to prove it wasn't the cooker hood ...

In old houses like mine (and in modern ones built in the old-fashioned style) we don't have extractor fans. Instead there are these concrete "hoods" which goes straight up to a chimney and it draws naturally. As there is an olive tree behind that end wall, I do find the odd olive or two lying on the counter. :D

Actually, until roders comes along and puts something up, we can continue to talk kitchens.

Mine is actually quite nice ... but then I designed it ... so perhaps I could start a thread on kitchens as lots of us like to cook. What do you think?
