Food cover

 

I never use it for anything to do with human or animal food, but I suppose you could, particularly if you were southern European. But it is a 'cover' that you are looking at. But what is it the 'cover' of?

Look at the clues. Mundane. Useful to most members of GC. Not normally for human or animal food or drink (but could be). Another word for cover?

 

Top of a greenhouse heater?

 

Still miles off Terrier. Not as complicated. May use it in a g.house but this one would be too small. We use them (we have 2) in the house. Mrs. S. more than me, but that is by the by.

 

Old fasioned puffer for killing bugs? Yawn!

Just a thought, I don't suppose it's a watering can?

 

At last terrier. Well done. It's a fancy indoor one which could also be used for say olive oil if you use a lot of that. We find them too large. Mrs S. uses them more than me for her orchids, with rain water that is not oil.
