    :) Lol........they are part of a collection of old tools at the garden we visited a couple of weeks ago Helmingham Hall,owned by the Tollymach family since 1480,so I guess they just kept them .......as you do :)

    :) A hand grip on something. my first thought would be a hand gun, but that doesn't seem you... So a hand grip on a tool perhaps.. A rasp or a machete..??
