    I nearly missed that answer roders because I know Flat Irons as antique windows...I'll post a pic of one in a while.

    This is a Flat Iron window,well actually a Double Flat Iron :rolleyes: Ignore the other items on it and the window is painted black.

    This window would cost around �£300 new,and half that from a reclaimation yard.

    I thought that too but wasn't in to look. It's lovely, Roders ... to your sister that is! I think it's an unique way to use them. I use my old Bristol sink here (brought over with ne) and it makes a good planter too. Like it! [​IMG]
