    Roders, you say it is about a foot long but we don't know the diameter ... is it some kind of strange planter? ... being a gardener and all that .. :heehee:

    ... or perhaps a unique bird feeder?

    It looks too clean to be an outdoor item though, even too clean to be a candle holder or cat toy! :dunno:
