    It was fitted in a porch and the bell could be heard by the owner while she was in the garden.
    I liberated it when she moved out ;)

    :rolleyes: Gosh Paladin... They used to have one of those boxes fitted on the vicarage here years ago!!! Well well, never thought of that.. In fact had forgotten all about it..!!!! :rolleyes: :D My camera batteries are flat so if you or anyone has another object fire away. I will sort something tomorrow... ;)

    Makes one appreciate the advantages of modern technology though when you look at the size of that thing and the voltages used.

    They are (on my screen anyway) about actual size Nick.

    Now I'm being far too helpful, I just measured and they are 80mm / about 3" across.
