I heard you can get points on your leccy bill if you're with Eon, must sort that out as they just read the meter.

    Very little!

I use a Tesco Bank credit card for all I spend, and pay off the total every month which pays me 0.5% in clubcard points wherever I purchase.

I use Topcashback to purchase wherever I can, so get 12.12% from the like of T&M, or 4.04% from Wilkos +5% bonus when paid in Clubcard Points. (that's over a 50% payback in 'Rewards' from T&M purchases!).

And I use promotions such as the recent 500 points when buying 2 HP ink cartridges (which effectively made them free, taking account of ability to 'Double Up' or use points to get Rewards 4x face value of points.

We also have as many multiple Clubcard accounts as possible to take advantage of all the extra points coupons they send in mailings.

I forgot that one! In the good old days Eon would give you one lot of points for an estimated bill, then a second lot for a phoned in bill, so we'd always hide from the meter reader first time round to get double Clubcard Points.

    Every little helps!

P.S. Once joining Topcashback, you refer OH, your children, etc,. or/and they refer one another, and you they earn £10 once you they have earned earned some more cashback which once again can be converted into Clubcard Points (again with a 5% bonus).

EDIT: I expect to get up to 9,500 Clubcard Points before the 4th May cutoff point for the next mailing. To earn that amount simply by shopping in Tesco and earning 1 point per pound spent in Tescos I would have needed to have spent £9,500 there in 3 months, or £38,000 p.a. but obviously I only spent a tiny fraction of that there.
