Looking great, LMRR! The wildlife area is going to amazing when the hostas etc establish and reflect on the water Your veg plot is great too, like the path you added :gnthb:

 

I went to a local plant sale today, it was totally unplanned and a last minute decision but it was worth it as I bought an acer and a sambuca for my garden

 

Do you know LMRR seeing a beautiful garden does lift my spirits up and your wild life garden has just done that.

It's great when u see it all growing and I can't believe how quick some of it grows.

Some things haven't grown as well as last year but others are doing better lol. My potatoes re loving the bags just gotta hope there's some potatoes forming below.

My patio rose given to me by my neighbour. It was in poor health when i got it but it seems to be doing ok now



My clematis venose violacea is growing well and has a few buds on it. I've had quite a few clematis and they never seemed to grow well but this year they're all doing really well including the ones I thought were dead. The only thing is I'm not sure of the names of the "dead ones" cause I threw the labels away and can't remember lol. I'm sure when they flower I can identify them then. :dh:

Don't have too many flowers in the garden more a foliage sort of person but I will admit I'm coming round a bit lol. Even thought about making some hanging baskets this year but hasn't got out of the thought stage yet. I was thinking about making some baskets with all year round interest but think it'll be a challenge and will prob need some help with what to put in it.

 

Your tower-pot strawberries look about as bad as mine. I've never succeeded with those tower pot things ... perhaps I should cut my losses?

 

Its great when things start coming to life..or back to life..its a great time of year for that. One month from now it will hardly be recognisable. I love those Roses too!

I have looked through your thread and I am really impressed with what you have achieved here
I love the wildlife garden- a great idea to have an actual wildlife area to encourage creatures into the garden. Is that a frog house by your pond? I have one behind my pond and it is well used!! Mind you I jump a mile when I am weeding around that area and frogs start jumping around :skp:

What is the other house for?
I have a hedgiebox which I have just moved to a better area I think as it is more secluded.

 

Thankyou. Yes it is a frog house not sure if I've got any lodgers yet tho lol. The other house is a hedgehog house that my hubby made for me. I originally had that bit of garden for the dogs to go toilet but it appeared it was too far to wlk for them so I decided to turn it into a wildlife garden. I got my hubby to put a fence up to keep the dogs out so any wildlife would be safe from them.

 

It must be summer as I've put my table up :lollol:
