    Took this photo the other day and I thought that one of them had got the wrong box...

    But today managed to get these photos of one of the pair bringing in nesting material...

    And then we get ready for the off...

    I have now put some straw and hay in a pot wedged in my Acer from the guneias bedding so that they don't have to search to far from the nest for their materials.I will try to get some photos of them taking it out ready for the nest...

    Hope you get to see yours fly off Inter, I missed the departure of my nesting great tits they went this morning whilst I was in bed :(

    Fingers crossed mate that they fledge ok!...I have just emptied a box with seven dead Tit chicks in. Mrs Pal was so upset that I'm moving the box to another,quiter location in the garden,as the same thing happened last year:(

    Imp nice to hear that you have chicks and Pal so sorry that you have lost yours.We found one in the nest box last year that got left behind and I was most upset so can understand your wife being so:(

    On a lighter note here is one of the parents bringing in food for their brood and the second photo is of the speed in which they leave the box.:thumb:

    Lovely photos.

    We have had nothing nesting in our boxes this year after last years fiasco with that cat cleaning out the Wrens nest and killing the 3 babies. :mad:

    just cleaned out the nest and one baby tit had been left behind wonder why she left it:eek:

    had a pair of robins in my nest box all day keeping warm. hope they come back to nest:gnthb:

    Greatly entertained this morning by a pair of house sparrows who spent nearly 20 minutes inspecting this box. 'She' sat on the roof while 'he' spent ages peering inside.

    Looks as if the housing market could be on the turn.
    It would be interesting to see if they do move in.
