Seems to be a common problem when using Polycarbonate and there are strong winds, sadly :( I have known of people using Silicon to keep the sheets in, but that brings its own problems if you ever need to disassemble the structure, or replace a sheet.

Polycarbonate tends to flex under wind pressure and as it bows it just drags itself out of the frame. Glass is a better option.:coffee:

As a temporary solution, given Kirsten & Armandii's input re polycarbonate flexing could you brace it place with bamboo canes on the outside wedged between the ridges where the clips go?

I would need to use the smaller thinner types than the thicker ones I use for my runner beans though Revin.

At last some seeds are showing themselves :dancy:

Have given the fuchsia's a dribble of water to get them going too.

Clematis will need potting on too soon as there are roots coming through the bottom of the pots.

Had a bit of a clear out to get more staging room and now have more space to grow things not store pots and trays.

Well joy of joys, my ipomoea(morning glory) have germinated so I have been told by Mrs.Landy, she texted me with the news of 19 out of the 20 I had put in without soaking them either. :wub2:

Wee, I have got good news and bad news in the greenhouse today.
My morning glory have done really well and have transferred them into bigger pots.
Swan river daisy and marigolds too.
I think I have lost more Fuchsia's with the cold that hit a while back.
Paeony has been potted up and has a shoot showing too.
I have bought some Tomatoes from Lidl's to see if I can grow some salad gear as the first lot failed like the lettuce and radish and beetroot.

Here are a few more photos of the inside of the new greenhouse.
The tub is thanks to the wifey and here idea for this. It holds a reservoir of water in the base so all we have to do is spray the plants when they need it.
Sorry to say the fuchsia's are now covered with aphids, so out came the soapy water last night and sprayed them with this.
