@KFF - I don't mind admitting that our @Sheal has been a rock for me, not least whilst going through my various diagnoses, and for that I am eternally grateful. I hold all of my GC friends, yourself included, dear to my heart and would never see any of you 'stuck' if it was within my power to help. In the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of both @Trunky and @Sheal moving to new homes and beginning new chapters, and I cannot help but be happy for both of them as they are without question, the best friends anyone could ask for.
Thanks @Fat Controller you're such a sweetie as well as a good friend. You also know I'm here for you anytime that you need an ear. For all friends here that can't read what is said via PM, FC has been through the ups and downs of my house hunt with me. Some while back he also predicted the month that it would come to fruition, even before I'd found somewhere to buy. That month was September.
The bungalow is coming together nicely inside but I've done very little outside because of inclement weather since the middle of November. Below the second fall of snow at the beginning of December. Currently wading our way through the third - I'm told it's unusual to see snow around Inverness now due to climate change. Last winter was mild with just a sprinkling of snow. Autumn Winter
Looks great especially the green photo @Sheal. Not so keen on the white version. We have a similar picture atm. Quite a fall of snow this am and not a lot of fun plodding through it to feed the horse. Neighbour stopped in passing to ask if the horse was ok. Bugg.. the horse he was well warmer than me who was blue.
Then how wonderful that you were able to cash in on an unusual winters scene; so picturesque! One of your many joys will be taking shots of the changing seasons, as well you know! I just think you are blessed to have had such a magnificent view to capture! I'm seeing real fires, toasted marshmallows/crumpets/toast and ... ... snowball fights!
Thank you dear friends. It's lovely to be able to share the scenery.....and the snow with you. A lovely picture you paint @"M" but come next Tuesday my central heating system is being replaced and the wood burning stove will be out of action too - for up to a week. Perhaps your BBQ idea is not so far off the way of it!
