Another WOW WOO. That's some Camera must have a look at costs etc because this year is my Steve's 50th birthday in May and he deserves something to make it a perfect birthday to make up for the " I'm getting old syndrome" that goes with 50ths.
He loves taking photos and he has been on about getting a big lens for the camera he has now but it seems to me he deserves better.

Do not do it as a suprise
Speak to him as it appears he is an SLR man not bridge even though the bridge is so good, He may not appreciate it and it will be good money wasted
Ask what lens he wants or discuss it with him
It will not be a suprise but better than money wasted

Hi Jack I am also a SLR Owl and always will be my friend, this bridge camera is good and even surprising me, as I do mainly bird photography to purchase a lens for my two SLR's from 24mm x 1200mm,would cost me £££££'s,it will not replace my SLR's but will sit equally beside them,:old: ;)

Moyra just you keep being as you are surprise Steve ,it doesn't matter what it is
he will love it(its the thought that counts)and that is still true today,:)

I'm probably reading to much Byron,Wordsworth, Coleridge and Shelly:heehee:

One I made earlier this morning

All three are lovely pictures Woo. It always amazes me how they can remain feather spotless wading through all that gloopy sand. I've only got to take a step in stuff like that and I'm A over T,

Hi woo, you have a good eye for pics. I'm looking too replace my point and shoot camera for a all in one high zoom. This looks like it is capable of some very nice shots. I'll add this to my list
