Hi Rosa, lovely photos of the Megane:gnthb: I hope that you have been and got a deposit put down on it.Have you been for a test drive in it yet?:)

I think you will have fun drivng along the coast roads with the top down especially when we get this warmer weather, but at least you will be able to have the roof up if it rains.:D I bet you are getting quiet excited now because I know I was when I was getting Mrtyle.:thmb::luv:

Thanks for showing us the photos but please get it before someone else eyeballs it:D
PS I have my fingers and toes crossed:D

we decided to drive over and see that car took ages to find the garage and it was closed seen the car in fact they have two nearly indentical silver ones so we are going back over tommorow , on the way back we went to some local garages and i got my eye on a blue 2 seater mg sports it was nice, the guy wouldnt give us what we wanted for rover so we asked for more and hes seeing his partner, so it will be decision time tommorow but must admit i did like the renault megane coupe it has 2 seats in the back as the mg is just small with no seats in the back, also the roof on mg is manual so we are hoping the meganes roof is elecrical. let you know my decision tommorow

Hi Rosa, sorry that the garage was closed yesterday.I expect because it was Sunday they don't open and think they might be shut today as well today as it is a BH.Anyway, good luck with the Haggling. You should get a good deal as they are deperate to get rid of them the way things are at the moment.

I have found a link for you,you might want to look at so you can see just what you get for the money. We have never had a Megane so don't know what sort of car they are to drive.Anyway here is that link:)

thanks jazmine, just cant wait to get in it and have a drive, hubby started engine and wow you could hear the sporty sound and you press a button and the roof goes back then down in to an area at back of car, it has a stereo in the boot, we are joining the AA and the guy has given us a 28 day warranty.
lets hope it as good as our rover as that never let us down these past 2 years

I'm glad you got the one you were after:)

I've just looked up its technical spec on Autotrader (based on a 2002 model because I don't know which one you got), but it looks pretty fab. 140 bhp will make it a bit lively and fun to drive, and at 46.3 mpg on the motorway, or 27.7 in town its not bad on the juice. I also remember that the Renault Megane won an award a few years back for being the safest car in its class according to the Euro NCAP safety folks.
