:thmb: Hi Larburnum lovely to see you again..!! If you are refering to your avatar.. It could be because of two reasons I can think of... This new board does not allow us to have such large Avatars now so you may need to make it smaller if it was a pic of yours... Or the link has been lost from photobucket or whoever you use... Hope that helps....!!:thmb:

Perhaps I'm thick but on opening the site I can';t see anywhere where it says 'post new thread' or ask a question.

Help! Since re-joining and de-lurking myself on the forum, I have found that when I log in as usual and then attempt to post something, I am prevented from doing so because "You are not logged in" this has meant that I have lost several messages and pix.
I'm annoyed now as it's happened again and I had just tried to put up a lovely long post with nice pictured!
Please help or show me what I'm doing wrong, someone!
    Linda

First rule of forum-ing, when you log in, be sure you have a tick in the little box that says "Remember Me" and that should stop you getting logged out.

Second rule is when posting, mouse sweep the post, including images, and copy before you post!

I have great trouble logging on. I eneter my details and am told that I am logged on and, if the browser doesnt take me back (or wherever!), to 'click here'. I don't 'click here' but wait to be taken back, which I am but then I have to log on again, and again, until, eventually, I do, somehow, get logged on.

Unfortuantely, I forget about this each time I come on to the forum and I, usually, have written the posting and am trying to send it - then I am told that I'm not logged on!

It was, also, very difficult to send this email as I couldn't find 'Start new thread' or anything similar so I had to use the 'Reply to Thread'. I hope this gets through!

I'm now going to go back and try to send my email, again!

Hi Quaedor.. Do you check the "Stay logged in " box.?
If you do & still having problems then I would say it is a cookie problem. So run your anti spyware & clear all the cookies out & then try logging in again.. It often helps to use Firefox or Opera for forum use as they remember all that for you.. I E doesn't..

Also you could try going to your User CP...

    Edit options...

Check you ticked the email option box....

    Then.....
    .
Scroll down the page to "Miscellaneous Editor Interface..
    1st box.. Message Editor Interface..
    Drop down Menu......
Click.. Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing....
Scroll to bottom of page & click Save... This will give you all the posting options as well..

    Hope that helps... :thmb:

All you need to do is change your settings in your user CP cajary to accept PMs & emails.. I see that at the moment you have your setting to NO for emails & PMs..

Can I change the colours from this orange. I find it really quite harsh on the eye and difficult to read.

Whoa, I like oranges ... I live in the midst of them, however I'm not so sure I like this ... but each to their own ... must put my sunglasses on .. :help:

I like the new pics coming up on the front page, that's good and comes into line with what other forums do. :thmb:

Why is it that when you look Who's On Line you see people who were on line hours previously but are not now? :cnfs:

Not sure I like this flashing sign periodically saying if I donate I don't see ads ... I've offered to donate many times but ......
