that can be disabled easily if members don't like it > user CP > and either edit details or edit options has the ability to hide it

 

yes the messages in your usercp are private to you

and your rep power is this

19 = 10 (one rep unit) and 9 left over (needs one more to become its own unit)

10 rep - 1 rep power
1000 posts - 1 rep power

so you have 2 from that

I think I must be thicker than I thought I was. On this basis I would get 1 rep power for my 1000+ posts and then presumably I would need to have 10 people boost my rep power before I get another point..........or am I missing the point? Because I am showing 5 rep power on my postings but 11 on my cp. I am confused yet again! How did I get to 5 if it is made up of units of 10
