Oi, you chaps, Rich is doing this for us as a friend of mine and principly to upgrade the site against spammers and trolls as a favour. The other stuff happens to come with it. He's doing it for free - many others charge silly money for this kind of assistance so do you mind waiting to see how it all settles in before getting ratty. Please?

IF in a couple of weeks you still don't like it, then we'll think again but remember - there maybe more people that like all that stuff so we might just be stuck with it.

And as for the reps and stuff, we'll get a "How To" set up eventually.

 

i'll work more on the anti troll stuff later today, was up till like 1.30 am coding my site then back up by 6am

Cool I think he's doing a good job

 

After the upgrade it is taking a good 10 - 20 minutes for me to be able to post a reply. The title box comes up but the message box takes forever (this quick reply was started at 11.30 and it's now 11.52) I use other v bulletin boards and I don't have this problem, it's only happened since the upgrade. Logging out and back in doesn't help, rebooted the router etc; in case it was my end as well. Any help would be appreciated as I've not had a problem like this before.
