OK, I went for a wander and found I could make an album and upload a picture. But I've no idea if I can use that in a Message? but I can't see a way to just upload an image into a message, which I think would help newbies and folk looking for help.

    Thanks.

Does this therefore mean we can directly paste a pic from our PC without all the rigmarole of photobucket? That is one major plus which will make the changes a little easier for members.

Go into "user CP" select "edit options", scroll down to "thread display options" at the bottom of which you will find a box to tick for reverting to the old layout with user details at the left.

Hi there. Excuse my ignorance, this 'rep power' thingy, is it like a popularity vote ?

Not quite as nerdy as my hubby-he has 7 in total!!

Only problem with that is, whilst you are doing it out of the goodness of your heart, he just wouldn`t!!

Thanks for helping us get a better site RW, it is very very nice of you.

I know you are getting a few grumps-but hey, we have to "live" with `em LOL

PS very very very very very sorry if you are one of the grumps! I do still love you.

Ok, maybe I should outline my reasons for not liking this feature. I think it's just a charter for 'chums' to vote for each other REGARDLESS of the quality (or otherwise) of the posting, "Oh, I really like him/her, I'll give 'em my vote". I have already seen this pattern emerging. Remind you of the Eurovision Song Contest maybe ? Popularity versus Quality shouldn't be an issue here, like they say, it's the taking part that counts, right ? Cheers...freddy.
