This particular Morrisons was a custom built one in a new town just outside Cambridge called Camborne, and yes Safeways were taken over by Morrisons so we have a couple here, and a really big one in High Wycombe (daughters)I do like them, nice bread as well ;)

we get fantastic fish from Morrisons, anyway back to ferns or rather what you said earlier rosietu buying on line is always a chance. I also got the grass pack from Parkers, the red grass which is supposed to be the highlight of the combination is two bits of barely rooted twig! I think they survive on the fact that no one actually complains or sends stuff back.

I actually bought some queen of night tulips from them and they all came up pink! When I phoned them up they just said send them back and we will replace them - I mean as if I am giong to dig up a dozen tulips, pack them and post them and try to get my money back!

I had a few complaints, so I sent them pictures of the unsatisfactory plants- they said they were unable to replace them so returned the money.

    GREAT NEWS! it loves me!

All the old yellow leaves are dying back, but underneath are loads of new fronds unfurling and looking soopa healthy.

Oh - brilliant - I'm waiting for my fern collection to arrive from Parkers.... wonder what state mine will be in - dead or nearly dead!!! (oh - and my aquilega collection arrived a couple of days ago from them - if you hunt around enough in the tinsey bag of peat, there may be a microscopic piece of root.....)

Stinking after on the beach - mine come back smelling sweetly after all that salt and water! well after it all dries out that is.

I wish you luck with Parkers ferns, let me know how you goet on. I bought the grasses too and the red one is pathetic, it is in my hospital ward, but could end up being "ungardened"
