Thanks Sean, the info was very helpful. We could do with more gardening programs during the winter too just to cheer us up!
Thanks Steve, I knew the term but due to the brevity of Melinda's post, and my slow thinking, I didn't "click" until your post.

    Sorry for using jargon Armandii!

Steve- as you say not all torrents are illegal. There are vast libraries of legally available music and video content online. ten sites for free and legal torrents/

Many programme makers and distributors are absolutely wise to the value of making their programming content freely available on different platforms or in exchange for a nominal fee. They make their cash back through advertising to a web savvy audience.

Sean/ thehortchannel.tv - lots of good luck with your enterprise- it sounds fab!
You were filming in my neck of the woods! Were you in the Royal Park?

This is so typical, a decent programme to watch. My problem..............no television. We decided to get shot of it when our licence expired new years eve, having nothing better than constant rubbish to watch! Withdrawal symptoms have now gone. :heehee:

Yes, I can watch it live on computer, but have been told it is still illegal without a licence.

Its not a BBC program, so I very much doubt that that is the case.

Its diffrent and I already prefer to Gardeners world which I feel is just a magazine show now !!

Made by real people and covers loads of stuff the man about (no dig went on and on ....) and that was the short version:D

Covered bees so thats a first I think on a gardening programm, most people dont know what a honey bee looks like or the amount of diffrent colours they can be so that will be useful

The lady in work told me the guy with the chickens was sweet ?? and the guy with the little fence round the plot with the gate she thought was funny ??

And the bread with potato was fun to watch I hope its not all veg all the time and they could specialise on a diffrent plant each week

any way my thought and the woman in work

I have it on to record and its a shame its only on every two weeks

Hi Sheal, Don't worry it's not illegal to watch it on your computer. You wouldn't be watching it "live" so because of that it's quite legal to watch it, otherwise 99% of the material that we can watch as delayed recordings from the BBC, ITV, etc wouldn't be able to be watched.

A tv licence is required if an antenna is connected to the computer which has to have a bit inside (could be called tv card) which has a plug for your antenna, allowing you therefore to watch live tv.

I just watched it on computer..Interesting section on the allotments .. Wow! what prices some folks are having to pay up to £400 per year.. Mine is £5.00 per year. I liked the programme ..

Did anyone notice something strange about the Begonias Tubers when they had started to grow ???
