Whiley it would indeed be nice to relax in the garden when the weather is nice on our new decking when it's done of course!

It will also give the neighbours something to drool about for sure as we are overlooked through out all three of our gardens but saying that I'm a bit of a show off so what the hell.

At least they can't moan about my music as I pop my mp3 player on although it's really hard trying not to sing along with the music as I can't sing for toffee. :D

    Hi again Helen,
just alittle input here about the mp3.

i nick my hubbys phone when in the garden cos it's got radio on. i love 'steve wright in the afternoon' on radio 2. i too sing. well, sing isn't the right word but i love it.

my immediate neighbour just points to her ears now when i'm out in garden cos she knows i can't hear. i've just thought, could be she is saying 'shut up, you are hurting my ears' :D

anyway, sing along. it's good for the soul, body & mind.

You're trendy aren't you - i don't even know what an mp3 player is really. i know it plays music - that's it! i think it's great to have a mobile phone with a radio, how sad/behind the times is that [IMG] My brother is nearing 60 & he knows loads more than me!

    cheers
    sandra

Sandra how I used to love to listen to Steve Wright when he was on Radio One back in the day when he had Mr.Angry on and wasn't there a gay guy as well? So very funny! :D

It seems as we get older the 'in DJ's' of our youth seem to go up in the numbers on the radio and all the youngsters seem to say Steve who?

I was a Rock Chick in the 80's when everyone else was into New Wave only now I'm more of a mother hen although I don't lay the eggs anymore! :D

Bob brought me a little gadget that transmits via a radio signal all your songs from your mp3 player which in turns plays them through a stereo, ideal for both the car and my garden rock speakers although Bob much prefers me to just keep the ear plugs in and laughs at me singing...don't know why I'ave got the X-Factor, well maybe not! :D

Had more than a bug yesterday David I thought I had fried my laptop unless that cheeky ladybird left me a present amongst the keyboard yuk!

Ovaltine was the thug that was to blame not the little ladybird I thought I had blown it BIG time.

I went upstairs to test the water with Harry (who's a big online gaming kid) to see if I was allowed to maybe go online with one of his machines he really didn't get the hint or maybe he just thought 'play dumb I'm not letting her near my machines'.

I don't blame him either his gear has cost him 1,000's and he's always upgrading etc. he even has a water cooling kit for one of his machines now that really sounds scary to me...water and electricity

If it was Bob's machine it could very well be programmed it to make tea David.... oh the bliss of that :D but strangely enough both my boys don't like tea or coffee Harry is hooked on Tesco's (very cheap) blackcurrant and apple juice low cal of course and Dan drinks mineral water.....so different from most children today who love fizzy pop etc.

    Good morning all.

Ever since we have been back from Newbury something strange has happened to our side garden (where the bark chipping bed is) something has been trying to dig into the bed and leaving a right mess of things.

I thought it was cat-woman's critters at first doing their thing but there was no poo to be found.

We then thought maybe it's our two 'old ladies' so Bob made sure that the girls couldn't enter the side garden without us being there.

Yesterday I went for a little shuffle around the garden and to my horror there were loads of chippings on our gravel and something had try to dig blooming big holes in the bark bed.

So we closed the gate and tried to encouraged the girls to 'see' if they could get through....after a while the mum (Pepsi)managed to get to us via Bob's wooden trellis work.

We couldn't believe it as the trellis work squares are 3" squared and she's not one of those really tiny Yorkies and she's got such a pot belly on her I wouldn't have believed she could get through in a million years!

I bet she's paying us back for being away for those few days ... sadly it seems Bob's got more work to do out there! :D
