Its really NOT a problem for me, nor is it a complaint. I'm an advanced enough user that I could if I chose to write a run a script locally on my machine that would permanantly alter how GC looked for me only...I could style it as I wished quite easily.

My discussion here is more of an informative nature, making GC aware of a styling issue, and how changes impact upon that. I run a resolution suitable for my widescreen monitor that is 1680 x 1050, here are a series of screenshots from both firefox and Internet Explorer showing the older style and this new stretched spring style, I have resized them down to a manageable web viewing size but proportionally the scale remains the same. You can clearly see that this issue I have reported is neither one of my resolution, my machine or either of the two browsers I use most (FF or IE) as the old style displays at a good size, with centred banner and no stretching.

    Firefox Spring style stretched

    Firefox default style, views well

    Internet Explorer, spring style stretched

I have also ascertained the same views on my partners machine too.

Since I initially reported this bug earlier in this topic the viewing screen has been widened by the webmaster, which has stretched the banner when it just needed to be centred. I suspect that a number of settings in the spring styles "style sheet" have been changed to 100% as opposed to a fixed width.

Its really not a problem for me...but it does exist and I report it so that others do not have to, and so that others do not have to see this stretched style. If the webmaster would like some help, please create an ftp account with all priveledges and I'll edit the stylesheet, "live" and "on the fly"..then you can delete the ftp account.
